c1972 Geoffrey Beene Silk Black & White Dot DressI have had the twin of this dress in the shop ages ago and was so pleased to have another become available. This is one of my favorite designs from Mr Beene and feels as fresh and wearable now as when it was first deigned. The Geoffrey Beene Boutique label was launched in 1972 and I believe this to be from early on in that launch as you can clearly see the sixties influence in the design. The bodice is cut to skin over the bust with long, slim sleeves
