The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is moving toward allowing compounding pharmacies to produce more than a dozen injectable peptides that were banned because of potentially significant safety risks, the New York Major peptide regulatory news this week. The FDA announced on April 15 that it will remove 12 peptides from Category 2 of the 503A bulk drug substances list after seven calendar days.
